The Remote has been set to type (Onkyo) codes

Preamp input/output selections are made by selecting preamp and then selecting the desired source. Tape operation is also controlled by the remote. Preamp volume is controlled in all eight of the device options.

The included instructions will allow the user to program this remote to operate most other IR operated devices.

Programming codes will be retained during battery changes. If the codes are lost for any reason, the unit can be reprogrammed to its original settings as follows:

1. Push SET RECEIVER 09 ENTER
2. Push SET PREAMP several times until CD shows in display, then 17 ENTER
3. Push SET MUTING several times until RECVR shows in display, then ENTER

To program for Macintosh codes, use 39 instead of 09 and 43 instead of 17.

Replace batteries.

Press and hold CODE SEARCH button until the red indicator stays on, then release CODE SEARCH button.

Press and release SAT button.

Enter 0182

Press CHANNEL UP.

Press and hold CODE SEARCH button until the red indicator stays on, then release the CODE SEARCH button.

Push and release the PREAMP button.

Enter 0271

Press CHANNEL UP.

Press and hold CODE SEARCH button until the red indictor turns on, then release the CODE SEARCH button.

Press and hold the MUTE button until the red indicator blinks, then release the button.

Press and release the SAT button.

Press and release the MUTE button.

Press PREAMP button.

To operate Placette REMOTE VOLUME CONTROL press Volume UP/DOWN buttons.
To operate Placette PASSIVE LINESTAGE, first press PERAMP button then push number keys 1, 2, or 3 to select INPUTS and the Volume UP/DOWN buttons to control volume.
To operate Placette ACTIVE LINESTAGE, first press PREAMP button, then push number keys 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 to select INPUTS, 6 key is for MUTE, 7 key is for TAPE PLAY and 9 key is for RECORD OUT. The 8 and 0 keys are used for special applications.
